* Description
Observe and assist in the planning and execution of a world-class film festival. Specific duties are dependent on department and experience of intern. Most internships require strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Filemaker Pro), experience with on-line research and postings a plus. In addition, interns assist with office projects (creating spreadsheets, answering phones, on-line research/postings, photocopying, filing) and attending appropriate department and festival staff meetings. Many positions require working with filmmakers, press, volunteers and the public. Internships are available in the following departments: Marketing; Sponsorship/Development; Publicity; Events/Production; Technical/Projection; In-house film crew; Membership.
# Interns in the in-house film crew and technical departments require specific experience with cameras, lighting, and/or film/digital projection. Interns working in the production/events department need to be able to assist with the physical set-up/tear-down of events, displays, and projects.
